What to Expect

Do you provide a nursery?

Yes. We provide a nursery for ages 0 to 3 where you will be greeted by our friendly staff. Our remodeled nursery is located down in the fellowship hall below the sanctuary.

How long are the services?

Most services last about 1 hour

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give in the offering. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the atmosphere, and see if Hope might not be your future church home.

How should I dress?

There is no dress code at Central Baptist Church, for members or guests. Some of our church leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Central Baptist!

Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. We don't invite you to Central Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to the Lord and to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm loving family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering.

What kind of music should I expect to find?

We love great music that honors and glorifies God. You will enjoy the exciting way that we worship our Lord through singing at each service. Our songs include both traditional hymns and some contemporary song that honor God in a worshipful way.

What are the children’s ministries like?

Children are a top priority at Central Baptist Church and because this is true, we take every precaution to insure the safety of each child, from food safety to having a certified CPR and First Aid volunteer always on call during our services. In addition, we provide a specialized and exciting children’s worship service for kids four-years-old through 6th grade during all of our morning services.
